3M Rec Travel Soccer
The 3M Recreation Travel Soccer Program is just another division within the MTSC. The program allows older players from 7th to 12th grade who want to continue playing soccer at the recreation level a venue to continue to do so at a higher competitive level while keeping it fun. There are no tryout requirements but the level of play will be more competitive than the in town recreation soccer program requiring more of a commitment to training and the team. Games are typically played 11v11 on full sided fields lasting a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes for the junior divisions and 1 hour and 45 minutes for the senior divisions, game formats may be adjusted by the 3M League based upon the number of teams fielded and players per team each season.

1. Where and when do 3M teams play? MTSC 3M teams play league games within Middlesex, Monmouth and Mercer counties in the Fall and Spring. Each season consists of 10 games with 5 games played at home in Monroe Township. While the other 5 games are played away. For those teams that make playoffs, there will be additional games at the end of the season. Games can take place on either Saturday or Sunday, sometimes both and some weekday games depending on weather disruptions for previously scheduled games.
2. How far should I expect to drive each week? Most 3M away games are located within 30 – 35 minutes of Monroe Township. The distance traveled will depend upon the teams they play in their Division and Group.
3. What is the time commitment for the players? 3M teams practice at least one afternoon or evening during the week with some seasons having an additional training session provided by the MTSC. In addition to the normal practice schedule, each team will play at least one regular scheduled game during the weekend either on Saturday or Sunday or both days. Players are expected to be at the assigned field 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the game.
